The winners of double tickets to the 7th annual Knysna Wine Festival, offered to eight lucky followers of Platter's Guide on Twitter, have been announced.

The Knysna Wine Festival, held on 9 and 10 July, affords the opportunity to sample wines from around 50 of South Africa’s leading estates including Graham Beck, Jordan, Mulderbosch, Neil Ellis and Steenberg, to name but a few.

Aside from tasting top wines, interacting with the winemakers and learning about current trends in the industry, patrons will also be able to buy all the wines on the show at special event prices.

Having moved into the heart of Knysna, this year’s event takes place during the popular Knysna Oyster Festival at the Nedbank Pavilion in the Pick ‘n Pay Festival Grounds on Waterfront Drive.

The past week we have offered to give away double tickets to  eight people who followed us on Twitter @wineonaplatter and retweeted our competition phrase. And the winners are...

@devine_oak

@PureRestaurant

@AnatuWines

Congratulations to you all, and thank you for taking part in the competition! We hope you enjoy the festival, which - the organisers promise - will be bigger and better than ever. Do take photographs of yourselves at the show and post them up on our Facebook page or send them to us via Twitter. We're looking forward to share in the fun.
