Graham Beck Robertson cellarmaster Pieter "Bubbles" Ferreira will host a series of complimentary educational winter tastings at Gorgeous by Graham Beck, the chic bubbly bar on Steenberg Estate, Constantia, to demonstrate the craft involved in creating the perfect méthode cap classique (MCC) sparkling.
Executive chef Garth Almazan of Steenberg’s Catharina’s Restaurant will create special canapés that complement the featured sparkling wines and showcase the points that Pieter will make.
All are offered gratis for those who drop by Gorgeous between 6pm and 8.30pm on the following dates:
Wednesday 8 August: From Zero to Hero - a sneak peek at the sans-dosage Brut Zero.
Wednesday 22 August: Redefining the bubble - a pre-release taste of the flagship méthode cap classique, Graham Beck Cuvée Clive.
Wednesday 5 September: Size does matter! - a comparison of the effect of magnum, standard and half-bottle packaging on a sparkling wine.
