Previously available only to those with a KWV quota, the KWV Bonne Esperance easy-drinkers – affectionately known as "Bonnies" – are now widely available.

The non-vintage, non-varietal KWV Bonne Esperance Select Red and Select White are intended as any-occasion wines, and available in a variety of pack sizes: 750ml and 1L glass bottles, and 3L bag-in-boxes (BIBs).

The 750ml bottle retails for ZAR21.99 and the 1L variant for ZAR29.99, while the 3L pack sells for R59.99, making them affordable choices for all consumers, according to Chanel Kruger, category manager at KWV Wine South Africa.

“These fun, refreshing and affordable wines, enjoyed by many people over the years, are now available to all,” Kruger notes. “‘Bonnies’ has the potential to become a true household name. The wines themselves, and the different pack sizes, are perfect for any get–together and occasion.”
