The inaugural Fijnwyn Food & Wine Festival takes place at the Shokran events venue, Pretoria East, on 1 May 2013, and showcases the wines of Vrede & Lust, Creation, Saronsberg, Glen Carlou and many more.

Situated on a tranquil farm among pecan nut and almond plantations, Shokran is the ideal setting for a day of wine, food and music.

Wine estates taking part include Vrede & Lust, Creation, Saronsberg, Glen Carlou and many more. Among the festival attractions are wine tastings, deli food stalls, pecan nut harvesting, live music and entertainment for the kids.
