Mpumalanga wine lovers should not miss the sixth FNB Mpumalanga Wine Show, staged for the first time at the newly refurbished Emnotweni Arena in Nelspruit on 20 and 21 March.

As the hundreds of Lowveld wine enthusiasts who attended the show in White River over the past five years will know, the annual FNB Mpumalanga Wine Show promises "a fine time with wine", with more than 60 wine producers and over 350 wines on show.

A range of crème de la crème wineries – some new, some long established – will show their latest offerings of sparkling wines, sauvignon blancs, chardonnays, chenins and a range of red wines, brandies and Cape "ports" to please the palate and the pocket. The efficient Shop@Show facility will again be on hand to turn prize tastings into purchases, with the added convenience of delivery to your door.

The FNB Mpumalanga Wine Show is part of the FNB Regional Wine Show 2015 programme, which includes the popular FNB Free State Wine Show in Bloemfontein on 30 and 31 July.

Directed by wine authority Michael Fridjhon and organised by Johannesburg-based OutSorceress Marketing, the Mpumalanga show supports the White River chapter of Rotary International as a contribution to the local community. Proceeds to Rotary International, raised through ticket sales and wine donations via all regional wine shows, exceeded R100,000 in 2014.
