Eastern Cape winelovers soon stand the chance to sample top South African wines at the inaugural FNB Eastern Cape Wine Show.

The dual-city event opens its doors in East London on 12 March, to be followed two days later with a tasting in Port Elizabeth.

As with the other regional wine shows directed by wine authority Michael Fridjhon and arranged by events company OutSorceress Marketing, the FNB Eastern Cape Wine Show promises consumers a selection of about 200 of the best wines the country has to offer – from sensational sparklings and crisp whites to memorable reds and delicious dessert wines.

Not only can winelovers enjoy wine sampling from around 40 producers in a relaxed and informative setting, but they should make the most of the opportunity to stock their wine cellars via the Shop@Show retail facility.

The inaugural Eastern Cape Wine Show is followed a week later by the FNB Mpumalanga Wine Show, now in its sixth year, in Nelspruit on 20 and 21 March. The third FNB Free State Wine Show takes place in Bloemfontein on 30 and 31 July.
