With moonrise over the Helderberg Mountain as a backdrop, the inaugural Season of Flavours fine-wine-and-food pairing at Longridge Wine Estate on Thursday 6 November 2014 will feature the flagship wines of 13 top Stellenbosch cellars.

The pop-up event, from 17h00 till 21h00, will showcase top-flight bottlings by Avontuur Estate, Beau Belle, Bilton Wines, Blaauwklippen Vineyards, Dornier Wines, Ken Forrester Wines, Lithos Wines, Longridge Wine Estate, Lyngrove, Post House Vineyards, Somerbosch Wines, Waterkloof and Yonder Hill.

The wines will be matched with a selection of canapé-sized dishes created by Longridge chef Bruce von Pressentin with culinary consultant Marilou Marais Ferreira.

“Tasting stations” will be arranged around the perimeter of the Longridge cellar building, overlooking the organic herb and vegetable garden with Table Mountain in the distance.

Tickets include a branded wine glass and voucher booklet for the purchase of the canapés. Additional vouchers will be available. Winetasting is free, and visitors will be able to purchase all the showcased wines at special prices.
